Terms and Conditions of Service

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Security of the Coast. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you have any questions, please contact us.

2. Business Hours
Our standard business hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Services provided outside of these hours will incur additional charges, as outlined below.

3. Call-Out Charges
Our packages cover certain services as agreed upon in your contract. However, if your package does not cover a required service, the following call-out charges will apply:

  • Emergency Call-Out Charge:

    • During business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM): €49

    • Outside business hours (evenings, weekends, or holidays): €99

  • Meeting Cleaners or Maintenance Personnel:

    • During business hours: €20

    • Outside business hours: €39

  • Alarm Activation:

    • During business hours: €49

    • Outside business hours: €99

4. Additional Charges
If additional work or services are required beyond the scope of your package, such as emergency response or after-hours services, the following charges will apply, depending on the time of service:

  • Holiday or Weekend Call-Outs:

    • €99 for call-outs on weekends or public holidays.

5. Payment Terms

  • CCTV & Alarm Systems:
    Full payment for CCTV Cameras and Alarm Systems must be made upfront before any work begins. No installation will proceed until payment has been received.

  • Squatter Removal:
    Full payment for Squatter Removal Services is required upfront. We offer a 100% money-back guarantee if we fail to remove squatters from your property. If we are unsuccessful, the payment will be fully refunded. However, if the service is successfully carried out, no refunds will be provided.

  • Subscription Services:
    For ongoing services, you may subscribe to a monthly plan to help spread the cost of your security needs. Subscription charges are billed monthly, and your plan may cover certain services while other services (e.g., emergency call-outs, alarm activation) may incur additional charges based on the time of service.

6. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations of services must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Refunds for prepaid services will be issued at our discretion based on the circumstances of the cancellation. Squatter Removal services are covered by a 100% money-back guarantee if we fail to remove squatters from your property.

7. Liability
While we take every precaution to provide the highest standard of service, Security of the Coast is not responsible for damages or loss resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather conditions, vandalism, or failure of third-party systems such as alarms or CCTV equipment.
